Indoor Shooting at 28 October

This week saw 20 rounds submitted on Tuesday and 27 on Thursday.

The Thursday 7.30 shoot was busier than last week but still has plenty of space.

Scoring seems to be slightly better with 4 mistakes on Thursday and 6 on Tuesday. Still too many!

Simon, Lynne, William and Liz Whitworth improved their handicaps – well done!

We are now getting scores entered for the Club Handicap Competition which runs through the season (if this means nothing to you ask!).

Please mark your sheet with CHC, or L and keep a record yourself.

Indoor Shooting – Latest

I’ve recorded 43 scores for the week.

Can I ask that we continue to check our scores before submitting them, and that those who share Christian names with other members add their initial or surname to their score sheets (Chris; Keith ; Jack; Liz; Nigel; Neil; Roger; Steven)

Since I last reported some more people have improved their handicaps.

Well done to:

Liz Whitworth
Vic Scandrett
Keith Chandler
John Bond

Some people have achieved a handicap for the first time.

Chris Clarke

We need all new members to gain and indoor handicap so they can contribute to our handicap adjusted team scores.

Thanks for your cooperation

Indoor Shooting 16/10/16

So who’s hot, and who’s not !

Well so far there are three handicap improvers. Off to an early start are Charlie M, Liz W, and Helen W.

The first two weeks have seen me process and check 64 score sheets! And lots of people have yet to come in from the cold and shoot on Tuesdays or on Thursdays. You either love the outdoors or are taking a break.

From what I can see all is going well with the current arrangements. The Thursday ‘early session’ seems crowded but the ‘late’ session still seems to have plenty of spaces.

Can I encourage members without a handicap to get three scores in quickly so they can get a handicap and contribute to our team scores in the Postal League. We need good handicap adjusted scores.

A few issues with scoring. PLEASE check your scores before signing for them. PLEASE assist new members, juniors, and the arithmetically challenged.
